Yes, you should definitely attend with your partner. This will be your time away from the daily grind so you and your partner can heal together. Throughout the weekend you will work with your partner 1:1 for certain activities while also working with the group for other activities.
No, there are no other expenses other than the admission ticket. All accommodations, meals (except Saturday night), and materials are included in the weekend retreat fee. All couples will have date night on Saturday night where you are able to spend a romantic evening with your partner at a local restaurant of your choice. There are a host of restaurants within walking distance from the B&B.
There are many benefits to our weekend retreat. It’s an opportunity for you and your partner to get away from life’s distractions and just focus on each other. This will give you and your partner the opportunity to talk about things you would not have otherwise discussed. You will learn coping strategies to help strengthen your relationship and manage these types of conversations.
Yes. This retreat is open for all couples even if you are currently in couples therapy. This retreat can be a supplement to the couple's work you are doing with your therapist. The retreat is also great for couples who are just starting on their path of healing, a couple whose relationship is moving to the next level, or a couple looking for a premarital workshop.
Yes everyone is welcome. This retreat will be a great resource for all couples no matter the stage of their relationship. We welcome couples who are in the early stages of their relationship, those who are in a long-term relationship, engaged or married.
Due to health and safety concerns, the retreats will be held on zoom. The retreat will run from 9am to 1pm on Saturday, April 23rd, and Sunday the 24th.
We are doing everything we can to keep all the events on the schedule without compromising the safety of participants and will continue to update our guidelines as needed.
